I thought I would share this little poem which one of the participants at My Bold Class kindly penned
'SHAKE YOUR BUM'
It’s Wednesday night it’s ‘Zumba’ Time so everybody get in line
The music starts we feel the beat, and everybody moves their feet
First we go left then we go right, holding your wobbly bits in so tight
We start off fast and then move slow, lifting your knee your heel and then your toe
Sliding your feet across the floor, turning around and then there’s more
Hands together hands apart repeat the actions from the start.
Now when in Zumba there’s no time for chatter, cos’ if you do you’ll just get fatter
The best thing to do is keep on moving, singing and swaying, moving and grooving
Cos if you want to lose them pounds you gotta’ shake your bum and move around
The Zumba workout is really intense, and all for three pounds and fifty pence.
So now there’s only one more thing to do tell your friends, mother and sisters too.
So rain, snow, sleet or sun come to Zumba and have some fun.

The 60 or 45 minute session incorporates footwork and body movements from flamenco, salsa and other latin inspired dances.
